Yes, this picture was taken by me or Seth!!! Seth had a business trip in Hawaii a couple of weeks ago and I, Rachel got to go with him!!! It was beautiful!!! This picture of the sunset was taken on our first night in Hawaii...just going for a stroll!! :)

Most of you looking at this probably know we are going to have a new addition to our family in June. I am 27 1/2 weeks (don't forget the 1/2) along. We are having another baby girl! Exploring the pumpkins the first year we lived in this house!

The pumpkin exploring has begun again! Our landlord has a garden outside our house with a bunch of pumpkins in it. Taya loves to go look at them. She likes to take pictures of them.

Taya wanted to take a picture of this one because it is a dead pumpkin. :)

Megan wouldn't let me put her down while we were in the garden. The second time we went out that day, she would let me put her down, she'd touch the pumpkin, and be ready to have me pick her up again! :)

Heather and her kids met us at the park on Wednesday and we flew Taya's kite! Taya loved it! They all had fun with it!! Tyson was so cute cheering for everyone too! :) Megan tried it at the end. She held the kite while I ran! Fun!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LYNER!! Lindsey's birthday is September 4th. She will be in Alaska with Angie so we gave her birthday present to her early! We gave her manicure/pedicure stickers and clear nail protector! :) While watching Remember the Titans, Lyner and I had some fun!

Taya's Haircut!

Taya cousins, Jaislyn, Kate, and Allyssa cut their hair. One night, while Jaislyn and Kate were over, she decided she wanted her hair cut too. She took the scissors in the other room and started cutting. So... needless to say, here she is with her new haircut! She was so cute about it. I asked her how short she wanted to cut it. She started to feel her hair, then looked up at me and said, "Like yours. And Allyssa's."

Lyner and Aubs rented a tandem bike! They were kind enough to share and we all had a good time with it. We discovered it is a good team building experience to ride it! :) During the parade someone painted a tiger nose on Taya's face. Later, she was painting and wanted to paint first my nose, and then the others joined the bandwagon.

I was talking on the phone one day and the girls were being quiet. Usually this is a sign - you better go check on them because they are most likely getting into trouble. Well - what good girls, they were sitting and looking at books! :) Cute! :)

So, I have had some things I want to blog for a couple weeks, so you get to see it all! Hence the title Emily suggested, "A Plethora of Pictures!!" I went to Idaho Falls to spend time with my family and let Taya play with her cousins Katelynn and Daniel! We had a good time!

Taya, Megan, and I went to the park today to meet up with some of my old BYU-I roommates and their kids. Left to right: Ty, Karley, Rachel, Elise, Karter, Taya, Rachel, and Megan! Good times! I love to get together with you girls!! Now that we are home and the girls are tired, they are chillin' in front of "Land Before Time V" and snackin on pretzels and raisins! I think they are cute! :)

We have had some late nights the past few nights. Megan had a little surgery to put tubes in her ears Friday morning. Thursday we went over to Seth's family so Seth, his dad, and Tyler could give Megs a blessing. Also Taya was sleeping over for the night because we needed to be to the hospital by 6:30 a.m. Megs surgery went really well. Then, we spent the day at the Watson's and had fun playing. We didn't leave until late that night too. Then last night we had a family outing and didn't get back until after 10. Taya had taken a nap so I didn't rush her to bed. Around 11 or 11:30 she was whiny and said, "Mom, I'm tired." So, she laid her head down on the table and went to sleep! :) Beyond tired! And on top of late nights, she doesn't feel top notch right now. She is a cutie! :)

Hello Everyone! Yes you see right, Rachel is blogging! :) I don't take my camera everywhere so here is a little breeze through where we have had the camera! Taya turned 3 in January! She was a happy girl with new make-up and stuff! :)

Megs turned 1 in February! She was a happy girl sitting on the purple chair (Taya and Megs have been fighting over this purple chair lately. I need a second one!)

This is Memorial Day! We did a lot for Memorial Day weekend. Dad, Mom, Brandon, Lyner, and Aubrey came down. We spent Saturday afternoon with Oma, Karen, Lana, and Magan. Ate, visited, and went to Opa's grave. Then, Monday we went to Bountiful. We met at the cemetary where my Grandma and Grandpa Bright and Uncle Dave are buried! Then we went to my cousin Ashley's (my grandma's old house) for lunch and a good round of girls painting our toe nails!! :) To end the day on Monday, we went to Seth's family's house for a barbecue. Megan looked so cute in this chair, but by the time I took the picture, she was crying to get off it!

Well, here is a tag I will do even though Ang didn't think I would read it (Don't worry, after you told me to I did! :)) I went to the 6th folder in my pictures and went to the sixth picture. It is actually a video clip of a beautiful beach Seth was at in Puerto Rico, so I chose one I was in right next to it. - it is the 5th picture instead of the 6th. This picture has already been blogged, but it was fun. It is Seth and I at a BYU football game! So since I have already blogged this one, I decided to totally change it and pick another random one and I picked the 4th folder and the 4th picture! This is little Taya about a month old!

My Diamond Castle Princesses!!

Taya loves to watch the Diamond Castle. I made a couple of guitars with a kleenex box, paper towel roll, and rubber bands. The next guitar was made out of paper plates, rubber bands, and electric tape (electrical guitar ha ha! :)) Anyway, she'll pluck away and sing, "Two Voices, One Song." Now she'll get metal spatula with holes in it and pluck away on that! Megan watches the Diamond Castle too and her sister. "Two Voices and One Song" comes on and she starts singing (she sings ah ah ah) and strums her fingers of one hand against the other hand! It's pretty cute!

Seth, Taya, and I love to watch Megan try new foods. She does the funniest faces!! Taya will even immitate Megan. She'll take a bite of her food and pull the same head shake and face!! It is funny!! :) The first one is Mac and Cheese in a jar (disgusting in my opinion, but she didn't think it was too bad.) The second is apple & blueberry baby food! (She has tried this before, but it is not her usual. Her usuals involve bananas, applesauce, oatmeal, and rice cereal. Even with her usual she will pull faces the first few bites! She is just amusing to watch!) :)

At the begininng of this second one Megan has her mouth open and her hands moving around. She does this when she is excited for something that is coming, like her bottle, food, or a toy in front of her.

Seth and I were invited to go horseback riding with one of Seth's scouts. It was so fun and we were surrounded by trees with beautiful autumn leaves. You can hardly tell you are in Provo anymore!! We started by feeding the horses apples. We rode for awhile and when we got off, the horses stuck around right by us. I was amazed how they didn't run off!! We had a great time! I enjoyed galloping again!! :

This is Benji. He is the one that invited us! My dream is to ride like he does and take off "running into the sunset!" :)

We started Halloween night with my aunt Lana and cousin Magan picking us up and taking us to my Grandma's - Oma's house. We visited with Oma, Karen, Lana, and Magan. We watched the Dick Van Dyke "Haunted Cabin" - a childhood memory! Seth came and picked us up and we went to the ward Trunk or Treat. Then we visited the Paulsen's - our landlords. They like us to stop by on Halloween! :) After that we went to the Watson's to visit, eat chili, and have fun with them! We had a great Halloween night!

For FHE last night we carved pumpkins. Seth did the carving, I burned, I mean cooked the pumpkin seeds, Taya colored some pictures of pumpkins, and Megs watched and played with some toys! :) We had fun! We listened to "Popular" from the Broadway Musical "Wicked" on repeat. (We didn't mind turning it off after 50 times! :)) It's pretty cute to hear Taya sing along and for those that know the song, one of her favorite parts is when Glenda sings

This past weekend we went to Idaho Falls because our neice Mary (daughter of Will and Emily Empey) was blessed. She looked beautiful! Such a pretty dress! Shaleena, Katelynn, and Daniel came and spent the night with us and spent the day with us on Monday. It was fun to have them over. Taya loves to play with her cousins! Shaleena gave Taya her first Science lesson with a grasshopper! :) Shaleena also let Daniel and Taya be creative with bubbles! It started out with blowing bubbles with kitchen utensils to washing my house and front porch to a water fight! They had a good time!

We got to spend time with my sisters and neice this week - Emily, her cute daughter Mary, and Lindsey! We had a good time spending time together. We had to take naps a few times because putting together the schedules of a 2 year old, 7 month old, and almost 2 month old was exausting! We spent time together getting ready for the day :), going to parks, storytime at the library, getting jamba juices, a carnival at an elementary school with my Aunt Lana, and cousin Magan, and lots of visiting with relatives! (Oh, and I can't forget - imitating our cute older sister Angie and the way she says, "Oh baby Woods! Yes!) We snuck in a little movie watching - a favorite when we were little - The Labrynth. Thanks for coming girls! I had fun! I love you!

Megan enjoyed being in Mary's pack and play! Taya loves to make Megan laugh and this is one of those times!

Megan had her 6 month doctor appointment this week as well. She is 7 months old though and weighs 14 lbs. 12 oz. and is 26 inches long. She got shots and was quite mad about it. Unfortunately she had a fever off and on for two days. We used cold wet wash clothes to help bring the temperature down. She likes things on her head (like the way I put the wash cloth on her head in the following video!)! Even though it was a rough couple days, she took opportunities to be happy and laugh! The little cutie! :)

Our Family Vacation

In August, Seth, Taya, Megan, and I went on a vacation to Salt Lake City. We were able to stay in the Residence Inn (thanks to reward points :)) and do some fun things around Salt Lake. We had fun at Temple Square, Lagoon, and the Hogle Zoo. We had a great family time, just the four of us!

Seth played a few throwing games. He won a stuffed animal and a blowup bat for Taya. (Playing the games was just so Taya could have the prizes! :))
